The valley is dominated by Langtang Lirung [7246m], the highest peak in the area. This exquisite trek offers the shortest path to undulating snow-capped Himalayan Mountain from Kathmandu. The trek starts from Syabru Besi after 6-7 hrs drive from Kathmandu. The route meanders along Bhote Kosi river through ethnic Tamang villages, lush green forests and wide spread Kyangin valley surrounded by snowy peaks from all fours sides. After sinuous ascents, trekkers climb up to Kyangin at 3800 meter.
On reaching Kyangjin Ri [4350m.], one can capture the most mesmerizing view of towering mountain range. Following the route back down the valley to Syabru Besi, the trek is concluded with a drive back to Kathmandu. This trek can be done at any time of the year except during monsoon [July & August]
